A very special first: My first newborn session in the new studio
There are some moments in life that just feel extra special, and this was definitely one of them. I had the honor of welcoming my very first newborn into my new studio, and I couldn't have asked for a sweeter way to begin this new chapter.
This handsome little guy was as calm and laid-back as they come. He settled into every pose so peacefully, making it feel like he'd been modeling for newborn photos his whole life! One of my favorite setups from the session was dressing him as the sweetest little bear. Wrapped up in soft, cozy layers with his tiny bear bonnet, he was almost too cute to handle.
Of course, newborn sessions don't always come with just one tiny client! This sweet family brought all five of their children, and let's just say... getting everyone together for sibling photos was a little like herding cats! There were giggles, wiggles, and plenty of energy filling the studio, but those are often the moments that create the most genuine smiles and memories. It may have been a little chaotic, but it was the kind of beautiful chaos that comes with a house full of love.
As I looked around my studio during this session, I couldn't help but feel incredibly grateful. This space has been a dream of mine, and seeing it filled with a wonderful family and a precious newborn made all the hard work worthwhile.
One thing that will never change, no matter how many sessions I photograph, is that your baby's safety is always my highest priority. Every pose is done with care, patience, and your little one's comfort in mind. Creating beautiful images is important, but creating them safely is even more important.
To this wonderful family, thank you for trusting me to capture these first precious days of your little boy's life and for making him the very first newborn to be photographed in my new studio. It is a milestone I'll always remember.
Here's to many more sleepy babies, growing families, and memories made within these walls. I can't wait to meet the next little one.
